"Lawsuit" year but they already changed mustache headstock to look more Guild like, rather than Gibson. This is a dead on Gibson ES-175 and better quality than those coming out of Kalamazoo that year. The humbuckers in this era Japanese guitars are hugely strong with amazing tone. Plays like a dream with 12s on it. Why pay for a '64 Steve Howe ES-175 when you can have this baby for a lot less.
I purchased a top of the line TKL 175 Jazz Guitar case, wood with arched top for added strength and protection. Burgundy plush interior. Fits like a glove. Slight ding in the top shown in picture below.
