These are great little imported treasures. This metal body reso-phonic guitar is the bargain of the decade from our viewpoint. Johnson guitars are nickel/silver plated brass bodied resonator guitars that feature a 9 1/2" National style biscuit/cone, 24.9" scale length, 14 fret neck joint, rolled "F" holes, adjustable truss rod, rosewood fingerboard with pearl dots and a plank headstock with enclosed Gotoh tuners. The neck is Honduras mahogany (matte finish) with Mother-of pearl dots and an unbleached bone nut.

I have not been able to find any new versions with the ornamentaion of this one (Top back AND sides), which really sets it apart as a legitimate alternative to National and Dobro at 2 and 3 times the price.
