According to Martin Guitars, there were only 144 D-45's produced in the year 2000. This is one of them. The flagship production dreadnaught of the Martin Line, this guitar is beautifully appointed with abalone , has a full gloss finish including the neck and sounds amazing. The tone is rich, deep and loud as one should expect from such a masterpiece.
The new D-45's off the line are hitting the street at $6999! This one is in great shape, hardly played and recently set up by Paul Nerie, authorized Martin repairman. Action is amazingly low and comfortable for a dreadnaught. It plays and looks fabulous. Includes Molded Martin Case. All case candy such as tags, manuals and paperwork included.
