Uke Phenom Jake Shimabukuro

On October 24, 2011, I had the outstanding opportunity to see a local performance by Uke phenom Jake Shimabukuro.

His solo performance was an unbelievable opportunity to witness true musical virtuosity.  Local ukulele revivalist Jim Beloff hosted the event as a part of the Clinton Library Association concert series.

Jake shown here with Wayne D'Amico checking out and signing Wayne's Concert Fluke, the first "plum" fluke made back in 1998-99 by Jim Beloff, Dale Webb and Phyllis Beloff-Webb ukulele manufacturing venture, Magic Fluke, Inc. where they invented and produce these modern ukulele's in their New Hartford CT factory.

Be sure to check out more from Jake and his CD "Peace Love & Ukulele" which includes a live version of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody as performed in the October 24, 2010 performance in Clinton CT.
