1981 Epiphone Sheraton
Wine Red
Fully Restored and Improved

This Epiphone is one of this short run of Japanese made Epi's from early 1980's that were of superior build quality.  This particular guitar had very tired gold parts but the condition and finish were fabulous, so I decided to Hot Rod it with all new Gold parts down to every screw and USA made electronics.

This is now a monster player with amazing tone.  It is really comparable to a Gibson 355 with is multiple layer binding and gold hardware.  Restoration included Dr. Vintage USA CTA and Switchcraft harness,
Tone Pro's Bridge with Graphtec Saddles,  Schaller Locking Tuners,  Fret dress and Set-up by Paul Neri,
Late 70's Gibson 335 Case (optional).  The Schaller's were chosen because they did not require a new hole that would be visible before or after removal of old tuners.  The old were likely Gotoh, but the style is virtually impossible to find in a NOS or replacement.  The Schaller's are amazing units and add significant value and reliability to this guitar.

Original spec Frequensator tail piece replaced from incorrect trapeze tail piece installed by previous owner.

Kalamazoo MI Gibson Label

TonePros bridge and Graphtech Saddles

Little bit of "buckle rash" on back - not that noticeable, but I took this photo in light to accentuate it.

Couple of chip/dings and finish crack at neck joint.

Note replace the screw in original whole - not required for these Schaller Locking Tuners!

Sleeping in its late '70s early '80's Gibson purple plush lined 335 case.  Not necessarily included if you don't want to pay for it.
